Our vision is to build a reputable and world class media platform whose watchword is professionalism and integrity. Our mission is to ensure that The ECHO becomes the cornerstone of constructive journalism in Nigeria and Africa. To provide a credible and constructive media that will galvanize the public into active participation in the political and government process as well as the government and decision makers into taking actions that will change the political, socio-economic landscape and society in general for the better interest of the polity.
The ECHO will provide a platform to bring the potential of the public, both at home and The diaspora in fostering positive leadership and governance and where the common masses can express their resentment, appreciation, and criticism of government policies.
The ECHO will partner with sister media organizations and other relevant bodies to fight any form of injustice and ensure that no section of the Nigerian society is neglected, discriminated against or left behind in our quest to build a better and just society. We will focus on youth, women and children, and give voice to the silent majority and minority groups and ensure their voices are heard in the political process. The ECHO will provide a platform for the discussion of issues, problems and deprivations faced by the community as well offer opinions, provide responses and serve as a forum for discourse.
Most importantly, The ECHO will strive to live up to the ideals of the press as the Fourth estate which the founding fathers recognized was essential to a functioning democracy: To hold leaders accountable for their actions, inaction, deeds and misdeeds.
Finally, The ECHO will serve as dependable ally to the business community in a manner that will positively impact the entrepreneurial sector, through business information and publicity.
