Former Nigeria goalkeeper and captain, Vincent Enyeama, who resigned from the National team after he had a clash with former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh in 2015, may return to the National team. In a reported interview with with Brila FM recently, the 37-year-old former goalkeeper reportedly said that should the country ask for his services in the National team, he would weilling to oblige.
“I cannot say no to Nigeria, that’s the truth. If Nigeria tells me today ‘Vincent, we have goalkeeping problem; we need you’, I will be there. I can’t say no” he reportedly said. The ace goalkeeper has been without a club since August 2018 when his contract with French side Lille was terminated by mutual consent, said that since his retirement, nobody from the Nigerian Football Federation has reached out to him to ask him to return to the Eagles.
